Alpha Lysander Steele and his pack of mutant wolf-soldiers are demanding Cinder reverse their mutations. If she doesn’t, they’ve threatened to satisfy their monstrous appetites with a massacre of the innocent people of Earth.

Iko and Cinder know that nothing can be done to reverse the mutations of the wolf-soldiers, but Steele does not believe them. To help sway Cinder, he’s taking hostages.

Iko will stop at nothing to see Steele captured and her friends safe, but, this time, she won’t be fighting alone. Cinder and the gang are prepared to team up once again to bring peace to their planets.

Surprisingly enough, I enjoyed Wires and Nerve. I even enjoyed the art style more in this second installment. Are these books amazing? No. But I found them to be a cute, easy afternoon read, and a fun addition to the Lunar Chronicles series that I fell in love with.

Rated: Mild, for cartoon violence. Androids are sliced, beheaded, and dismembered.
