Stars Above is a collection of nine short stories existing in the Lunar Chronicles world. Most are prequels, including a glimpse into the past of all the characters readers grew to love in the original series. For those who are hoping for a little more of a conclusion to the stories, the book also contains a story involving a long-awaited wedding and a further glimpse into happily-ever-after for Cinder and the gang. Overall, it’s a must-read for fans of the series, but the casual reader may want to pass this one by.

Rated: Mild. Minor characters “make love.” There are mentions of a rape and pregnancy, which leads to a woman’s suicide. Characters kiss.
