This could be the second chance PJ has long hoped for—a second shot at love and parenting—but does he have the strength to do both those things again? It’s very possible his heart can’t take it.
My note: I actually adored Hartnett’s Unlikely Animals, but with this book I just declined when I saw the number of uses of strong profanity. I would have been happy for this book to have fewer f-words for sure.

Profanity includes 43 uses of strong language, around 60 instances of moderate profanity, about 20 uses of mild language, and about 35 instances of the name of Deity in vain. Some crude references, some kissing, and instances of closed-door sex.
