From the publisher:

When local girl Loren includes Mara in a traditional Blackfeet Giveaway to honor Loren’s missing sister, Mara thinks she’ll finally make some friends on the Blackfeet reservation.

Instead, a girl from the Giveaway, Samantha White Tail, is found murdered.

Because the four members of the Giveaway group were the last to see Samantha alive, each becomes a person of interest in the investigation. And all of them—Mara, Loren, Brody, and Eli—have a complicated history with Samantha.

Despite deep mistrust, the four must now take matters into their own hands and clear their names. Even though one of them may be the murderer.

Rapid Rating: Mild (could be moderate, but in my quick search through the book using key terms I didn’t find anything that would make it moderate. I didn’t have time to read the whole book, so here is one example of where a rapid rating has the most limitations).

Profanity includes around about 5 instances of moderate profanity and about 25 uses of mild language. Sexual content appears to only include kissing. Murder occurs, and a number of references are made to missing and murdered indigenous people, as well as domestic and sexual violence. At least one physical attack, details included over a couple of pages, mention of blood.

About Rapid Ratings

The Rapid Rating option allows Rated Reads to rate more books for content. A quick search of an e-book can show all instances of profanity and at least some of any sexual content or violence. Likely, most Rapid Ratings will be of books rated High.
