Content ratings for Read with Jenna picks from 2022

Read with Jenna 2022 book club picks

Sure, you can find lists of all the picks from celebrity book clubs online, but do those lists include information about or ratings for content? (Answer: I don’t think so… ? Tell me if I’m wrong. Or don’t. Because I’m doing this anyway.)

Unfortunately, a majority of these are high, and those that aren’t are moderate. So if you’re a regular visitor to this site, you may not feel inclined to read a lot of them. But it’s still good to have the information. That’s my mantra and the raison d’être of Rated Reads: provide you, the reader, with the information you need to make whatever choice you’d like to make about your reading material.

Many of these are Rapid Ratings, in large part because I didn’t want to read the books that had a lot of profanity, vulgarity, etc., and in part because I wanted to get the information on here as soon as possible, and that meant not taking the time to read them all (because I don’t have 24/7 for reading, sadly). I read The Cloisters, Remarkably Bright Creatures, and The School for Good Mothers. I thought the first was interesting but not necessarily one that’s going to stick with me. The third really made me think (while making me mad!). The middle one was an absolute delight and I’m so glad to be able to recommend it (if you’re OK with a Moderate content rating).

Here are the 2022 Read with Jenna book club picks, from December down to January. You can click to read my full review and rating details; the rating is listed here.
