I’ve read a number of Oprah Winfrey’s book club picks over the years, and generally I’ve found they’re just not my style. I have appreciated some, but … a lot just are not my vibes. For these 2025 picks, I didn’t read A SINGLE ONE. None of the premises/descriptions appealed to me at all. And then in doing Rapid Ratings, I saw that 10 out of 12 had content that got High ratings, with two that were Mild. Frankly, I’m tired of Elizabeth Gilbert by now (I have read several of her books). I’m not generally interested at all in pop “woo-woo” so-so psychology. So. Not a banner year for Oprah and me.
But at least I have content info for you: here are links to the “reviews” (publishers’ synopses) of the 2025 Oprah book club picks, and Rapid Rating details.
