My Review:
This book is utterly fabulous — yes, utterly. Kami is one of the coolest young adult heroines I’ve read, and her story is full of humor, dark intrigue, supernatural twists, harrowing mystery and sweet romance. The dialogue and character interaction in this book are top-notch and so captivating. Author Sarah Rees Brennan’s writing pulls you in and keeps you wrapped up in the book with vivid descriptions, mysterious settings and a perfectly plotted story.
Although Unspoken is a young adult novel, I highly recommend it for adults as well. It’s the first book in The Lynburn Legacy trilogy, a series I actually look forward to continuing.
Rated: Mild, for a few uses of mild language and some mild violence.
